Library Checkout Information

Preschool and Kindergarten students will visit the library weekly. Students in grades 1-5 will visit every other week. We also offer “Open Library” times daily so that students can exchange books even if it isn’t their library day.

  • PreK - Kindergarten: One book may be checked out for one week.

  • Grades 1 - 2: Two books may be checked out for two weeks.

  • Grades 3 - 5: Three books may be checked out for two weeks (with a two-week renewal option for chapter books).

Overdue, Lost, or Damaged Books

  • Books are due on your child’s library day. Parents, please help them remember to bring them back, so all students can enjoy our books! Overdue notices and/or emails will be sent home periodically.

  • Students will be required to pay for all damaged and lost books. Once a student pays for a lost or damaged book, it becomes the property of the student. We are not able to provide refunds for “found” books once the fees have been paid.
