In our recent science unit, our first graders learned about why some organisms have webbed feet, then participated in experiments to see what it feels like to have webbed feet. They also learned how skeletons protect organisms and experimented with what it might feel like without one! They all agreed that they'd prefer to have webbed feet and definitely need a skeleton!
